Chankaya's Chants basically has 2 parallel story lines, one with the witty Chanakya at the helm brilliantly strategising thereby bringing the downfall of the Macedonian empire and a contemporary version of Chanakya as Gangasagar Mishra brilliantly architects the rise of a woman from the slums to being the Prime Minister of India...Both the parts are well-written with unexpected twists and turns...Chanakya & GangaSagar's wits and brains leave us gasping & seeking more from them...Probably the only downside to the book is that the 2 stories become difficult to follow at times due to the constant introduction of characters...Otherwise, it's a fiction lover's delight...
True stories from India's BPOs and call centers is a nice collection of short stories, 150 of them to be exact, which give us an insight into the life inside a BPO....Along the course of the book, some myths are dispelled, while some facts are being proved....certain stories and incidents are really rib-tickling...Overall, a nice, breezy, comical book...Recommended for those who seek light reading instead of long-winding fiction...
